Stump Grinding
Stump Removal
For optimal restoration of turf, a stump should be ground out approximately 6” below the surface of the soil. We do not recommend planting a new tree in the same area after a stump is ground. When stumps are ground, a dense mixture of wood shavings and dirt is left behind. The amount varies depending on the stump but it can be at least twice as much volume (of chips mixed with dirt) compared to the stump wood. We recommend locating all underground wiring prior to our arrival. We do not take responsibility for damage to unmarked, buried or hidden lines, wires, etc. Cleanup and debris haul away can be arranged after stump grinding for a separate fee.
